The science
Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a form of neurostimulation which uses constant, low current delivered directly to the brain area of interest via small electrodes. tDCS was originally developed to help patients with brain injuries such as strokes. Tests on healthy adults demonstrated that tDCS can increase cognitive performance on a variety of tasks[citation needed], depending on the area of the brain being stimulated. tDCS has been utilized to enhance language and mathematical ability, attention span, problem solving, memory, and coordination.

Lusid dream
A lucid dream is a dream during which the dreamer is aware of dreaming. During lucid dreaming, the dreamer may be able to exert some degree of control over the dream characters, narrative, and environment.
"Out of the body" effect
A phenomenon in which a person experiences the illusion of leaving his own physical body and sometimes also sees it from the side. In recent years, it has been actively studied by scientific methods. Experimental techniques have been developed that make it possible to evoke this experience in subjects by means of electric or transcranial magnetic stimulation of certain areas of the brain.
